The Visa USA Partnership Marketing Calendar is a limited-access web application used to promote and manage world-class hospitality opportunities for Visa Members and prospects from Disney, the Olympics, and NASCAR, among others.
The Challenge:
In 2005, Visa requested a massive overhaul to personalize the user experience and establish inventory tracking and controls. The new site would allow account executives to check the status of hospitality requests and view their complete history of approved and denied requests including event information and invitees. Administrators would be able to track inventory quantities and costs and produce detailed reports on distribution, guests, and program investment.
While the end user upgrades were straightforward, the extensive variety of inventory types tracked by the administrators demanded a much more flexible solution. CTD was able to provide a baseline approach within scope for deployment and use an annual maintenance contract to phase in specific inventory-type enhancements.
